[Boatanchors] Corrosion on tube pins and sockets

I first use that green crinkly plastic pad that you use on dishes. If that is not enough
I try the metal brush. As a last resort  #400 sandpaper. 

I then use DeOXit D5 applied as a liquid. I find it hard to buy the liquid, so I just spray
it into a cup. Q-tips are good but you have to be careful to remove the hairy residue. 

I very strongly recommend the green pads, used with DeOxit, on rotary switch
rotors. I tear off little bits of it and hold in tweezers.

To clean the stators, I shove rough heavy card stock between
the little clips, wet with DeOxit, and slide back and forth.

if it's bad, a small metal brush, then some of that great CAIG spray. 
The specific name escapes me. It's more expensive.
