Several years ago I found a copy of the old ARRL "Mobile Handbook". There is
a lot of information on this type of rig in this book.
I have an old Gonset mobile converter I had planned to use with an old
vibrator type car radio but I did not have any luck finding one.
In the 1950's I had an AM Mobil transmitter in a 3X4X5 box. The final was a
6AQ5 and used the HV from the vibrator receiver.
