[Boatanchors] Safe radiation question

I love how any time an antenna opinion or a comment about RF Exposure
is given that doesn't endorse it, all kinds of stories surface
relating horrors that are unsubstantiated and likely folklore. Either
that or irrational or illogical responses.

The next time we're all in our shacks defeating interlocks and working
on our megawatt rigs, we'll let you know.

If the ham who asked, can get a KW at UHF out of his TS830, he won't
need it because he'll get rich selling it on eBay. I'd like to hear
about the ham who was stupid enough put a KW UHF rig into transmit to
an infinite impedance and looked at the feedline.

I looked at it once and for ham concluded it was a ridiculous
hand-wringing bromide crafted by CYA lawyers at FCC who were political
appointees with influence over technical people who wanted to keep
their jobs.
