Cable is needed to build power cable for tube type AM rigs. AC power, 12V filaments, hi and lo B+, bias, speaker, switching, etc.

Have not been following this closely, but cable mfrs such as Belden
make shielded CAT5 or CAT6 cable. It's used for runs between
computers and modems or routers in RF environments. Used by radio
stations among others, or anyone with a long run.
