Thanks, Bill, for the update and new info. It is always a tragedy to the world when knowledge and expertise is lost. I wish Gary had taken on an apprentice and passed on his skill, now it’s all gone. Greg...info rec'd from Jim, W5JO indicates that TRS has been sold and
Gary has retired. I had seen a snippet a good while back that Gary had a
health problem, but was still running TRS. Here is a link to the new

As far as I know the business is tits up. The most information I have been able to glean is that there has been some type of “medical emergency” concerning the man with all the knowledge and know how, and the business has been shuttered for the duration of the emergency, which, from the way they phrased it, means barring a miracle of some type, TRS is no more.
