They're great Eugene, that Eddystone dial makes it the ultimate
bandscanner - that weighted tuning dial provides good bandspread and
what I would say is the smoothest "feel" of any receiver. Performance is
good for a receiver designed in the early 50s, and it's stable enough
for SSB using the BFO and the old fashioned method of tuning. The tubes
are available although all I've had to do is one minor repair. There's

One thing that may not be apparent from looking at the pictures is how
heavy it is - 47 pounds! I remember buying mine from the club table at
a hamfest and groaning while carrying it to my car after seriously
underestimating how much it would weigh.
