This is taken from a listing on qrz.com. The poster encouraged
re-sending to email lists so I am doing that. Long list please read
carefully and do not ask me any questions because all I know is what
follows and I'll ignore your questions directly to me. - 73 Rob K5UJ
Greetings to all
I am posting this to help my good friend Gary Halverson K6GLH.
This doesn't belong in the swap section of QRZ due to the fact that
it's based on the interests of this group.
I say this is the sale of the century because there is nothing like it.
Gary is leaving California and is selling off his entire collection(s)
of everything. All is vintage going back as far as the turn of the century.
Radio equipment that includes everything from a complete period
correct spark gap station and all of the furniture, and period specific
artwork, wall hangings, QSL cards and periodocals, to every decade
of equipment and accessories through the 1960's. Truly remarkable.
I have spent many hours with Gary at his beautiful estate in Mokelumne Hill
California, hamming it up in ways that many can only
dream of, working with some very sough after equipment.
Items include the following:
Vintage HiFi LOTS!!!
Transformers, Meters, Builders Parts, Tubes, etc.
Vast collection of Engineering Texts, Periodicals, Handbooks, etc.
Vintage Transmitters, Receivers, Amplifiers and Station Accessories.
Towers, Antennas, Feed lines and Accessories.
Vintage Computing, Really Vintage.
Contacting Gary is the best way to inquire about specifics. It will take weeks
to compile all of the equipment into lists with prices, so please inquire.
He will be happy to provide photos upon request.
This is not a Fire Sale. However, pricing will be reasonable and of course
negotiable depending on value and if there will be packages of gear in any
deal.
Spread the word among your email groups and contacts who are actively
searching for the types of items listed above. Shipping arrangements will
be considered but it's highly advisable that local pickup be the first option.
The big stuff will require the appropriate vehicle, tools & personnel.
Please, be serious with your inquiries and be respectful.
