[Boatanchors] want to add a Harbach soft Start board in my AL-80A AMP

Why not simply use a relay, and a series RC set-up with adiode to change 
the ac to dc. When the cap charges up (T = RC) the relay closes, 
shorting out the inrush resistor. Nothing could be cheaper or easier.
