[Boatanchors] Old time Hartley circuit

Dear friends

I am trying to find an article that I used around 1964 or so to build a little 5 watt valve model control transmitter. It used a

Hartley oscillator I think, and the coil was wound on a cotton reel.


I think the article MIGHT have been in Practical Wireless.


It was intended for model control and ran about 5 watts on 27 MHz. I had no models. It produced very good TVI !!


Any clues?
