[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters HT18

That is a different animal entirely.

The DC 34 and DC 35 crystals have short pins of larger diameter.

The crystals for the HT 18 also spaced 3/4 of an inch but they are smaller diameter.

The BC-669-D (became HT-14) used DC-34 for receiver and DC-35 for transmitter. The only differences between the two are the engraving and the fact that the DC-34 actual frequency is higher by the IF than what's marked on the case.

A standard banana plug slips right into the sockets on mine. Be aware you need to use 80 meter crystals on all bands.

Can anybody tell us what crystals are used in the HallicrAfters HT 18 please? I have somebody needing some and they have determined the pin diameter is smaller than a banana plug so we know theyre not FT171B crystals.

The HT18 manual doesnt specify much Im trying to help this person but the only thing hes been able to tell me so far is the depends of thicker than those on and FT243 Crystal. And wider than 1/2 inch apart.
