N0DGN, I couldn’t care less whether you know CW or not or what you may have
cut your teeth on, which is irrelevant. Your problem is with the subject
matter of the discussion not meeting your approval, and because it doesn’t
you seem to think you’re a “real” boatanchor ham and those who do wish to
participate in the discussion are something less.
If someone wants to post about an ARRL petition and others want to reply
and it doesn’t violate moderator rules why should they be criticized by
you? If I see a post in this forum I don’t like, I ignore it or delete it,
I don’t post an insult to try to shut down the discussion, which is exactly
what you are trying to do. There’s no ham radio web forum in existence that
so strictly confines the breadth of subject matter discussed as you
apparently think this one should be.
