Recently I was gifted a complete TR-3 station. Unfortunately, the TR-3 itself has some issues caused by a mouse who had a field day (pardon the pun) by urinating and defecating all over the top of the chassis. The underside looks OK and all the parts are there, all the knobs and switches function (as in not "stuck" or immobile), the front panel looks good, and the case is in good enough shape for a bead blasting and repainting to appear as new. In short the TR-3 is salvageable but I am not the one to enter into this task. I am way too old for that stuff.


Anyway, I am offering the TR-3 to this list. Price: Best offer. Pix are available. I haven't priced the shipping, but it will be only the actual costs of stuffing it into FedEx or USPS (I DO NOT use UPS....after they took 2 Mhz of our 220 MHz band about 15 or so years ago for their package tracking).


The idea here is to provide a restoration project or a carcass for parts for someone's restoration project at minimal cost. Ergo, the OBO
