[Boatanchors] Need Manual(s) For General Radio 1168 Frequency Synthesizer

I recently came into possession of a GR 1168 frequency synthesizer. It
had been smashed on the front panel, and there was quite a bit of sheet
metal damage. I have managed to get the majority of the damage fixed,
at least so the sliding bar connected to the REMOTE-LOCAL frequency
select switch will move. The rotary switch for the leftmost digit (100
MHz) was in small pieces. I have manufactured a 6PDT switch to replace
it with, although the indexing to make the digits line up with the
window in the panel is a little off.
So far, I have completely struck out finding a manual of any kind for
this unit, not even a user's manual or schematic. One of the guys sent
me a PDF manual for a similar unit, but it had no servicing info.
I was told that this unit had some sort of power supply problem (in
addition to the physical damage), but with the maze of cables and
modular construction, I'm afraid troubleshooting it is going to be a
monumental task without some service documentation. In addition,
several of the wires attached to the front panel and frequency select
switches were pulled loose, and it's not immediately obvious where they
came from.
Can any of you help me locate a user manual/service manual/schematic(s)
and/or parts list for this unit? I am willing to pay a reasonable
amount for a hardcopy or PDF manual. If have a hardcopy manual, and
would be willing to send it to me, I will have FedEx Office copy it
professionally, and send the original back to you.
Please let me know offline if you can help.
Thanks!
