I am working on a set that may have a bad crystal.   This is small HC18  or HC49 size crystal that is cut for 73.35 MHz.    I plan to test the crystal by connecting a signal generator to one side and watching the output on the scope and look for resonance. My question is; how much power can I run into the crystal without destroying it?
