[Boatanchors] Carbon Comp Resistors: The Darkness Gathers?

Hmmmmm. I've seen numerous posts about the baking method over the years
that report the resistors will rise back up in value a few months
afterwards. It is postulated that the absorbed moisture changed the
resistor composition so as to make it always easier to reabsorb moisture.

With modern resistors, I've never felt the need to bake carbon comps. I
guess they're good for authenticity's sake, but I've never, ever, had
someone come into m shack and ask to take a peek under the skirts of any of
my radios. When I remove "authentic" parts under the chassis and replace
with modern parts, I simply bag the "authentic" parts for the next owner.

YMMV (and probably will).
