There are two separate unrelated Northern Radio companies
"Northern Radio Corporation" was in Seattle
"Northern Radio Company, Inc." was in NYC

Some evidence (besides the complete non-overlap of products and technology,
and testimony from a descendant of the founder of the NYC company)-
In 1969 "Northern Radio Company" was a subsidiary of RF Communications and
relocated to Melbourne FL.
In 1976 "Northern Radio Corporation" was still making marine radios in
Seattle.
(although some ads say Northern Radio Co. instead of Northern Radio Corp.)
