[Boatanchors] HC6/U tool?

Hi Brad,
Likely you are talking about a bank of the crystals where they are close spaced. I have set of plastic tweezers that works well- they have serrated jaws on them. But I would think that a pair of long needle nose pliers would also work- maybe put some tape on the jaws to keep from marring the crystal case.

Subject: [Boatanchors] HC6/U tool?

My most recent amateur radio experience goes back to the mid 1960's, when crystals were big and manly.

I need to swap HC6/U crystals between two 75S-3 receivers. No way my chubby arthritic fingers are going to work unaided.

Is there a tool for this? Something I can make? Or a recommended procedure with normal hand tools?

Help an old/new guy put together the S line station I wanted when I was 13......

Thanks,
