[Boatanchors] Can Meissner be wrong twice?

I bought a new-in-original-box Meissner #7448, 455 kHz crystal filter coil set on eBay for my current homebrew receiver project. To make sure that the two transformers in the set were good, I made resistance checks of all coils. All checked OK except the center-tapped secondary of the input transformer. As marked on the transformer, "D" is supposed to be the hot end of the secondary winding, "AVC" the cold end, and "CT" the center tap.
It showed 1.6 Ohms from D to CT, 0.8 Ohms from D to AVC, and 0.8 Ohms from CT to AVC.
I think it should be 1.6 Ohms from D to AVC, 0.8 Ohms from D to CT, and 0.8 Ohms from CT to AVC.
Later, I found an identical coil set at a swap meet and found it to be wired the same way.
Are they supposed to be wired that way, or did someone on the production line get it wrong, or am I missing something?
I think I am going to have to rewire the connections on the coils. Opinions anyone?
Here is Meissner's data sheet that came with the coil sets:
