The original poster of the 'Soldier Poem' has posted that poem on several "ham" groups every Christmas time for at least the past 3 or more years without ANY kerfuffle such has occurred on the Hammarlund this year. At some risk of extending this hoorah, maybe it's time for some to put their big girl undies on and quit being snowflakes! Flame away! At 80, I don't care.

groups and created quite a firestorm, unfortunately. I do think it's always
best to stay on topic in each individual group, that's why they exist and
why people subscribe to them. There's plenty of other political...stuff
etc...on Facebook (that I unfortunately often can't get away from when
posted by relatives or friends) .. whether I'm looking for it, or not.
