[Boatanchors] suggested crystal frequencies?

   today I finished work on the Globe Chief 90A transmitter.  Using the
tubes it came with power output was about 65 watts on 40 and 20
metres.  Lacking crystals for the amateur bands the bench testing was
done using salvaged crystals (from aviation HF transcieivers) that were
within 100 Khz of the 40M band edges.  Now that it works I should pick
up a couple of crystals (FT243 style cases), are there common or
recommended frequencies for vintage crystal controlled equipment?
