Guys,
I have a LK500 by Amp Supply that I'm trying to get back on line for one of our local clubs. It arrived with a burnt 20 ohm/20 watt power resistor on the factory soft start board. I was able to replace that and burn the tubes in fine. When I put about 80 watts of drive into and tried to tune it, it lost power. I'm thinking the ALO shut it down...the manual does go into any detail about it's operation. I'm thinking it would reset after turning off the power and turning it back on. This does not do it for me. It turns out it took out the 20 ohm power resistor on the soft start board again. Before I start digging into it I just wanted to run it by this forum and see if anyone has experience with this LK500 problem.  BTW I pulled the plate caps off the 3-500 finals in a bad final was keeping it from powering up (ALO sense circuit)...
