[Boatanchors] Banana Plug Question

Bry-
I believe you are talking about a 30 Amp power supply. I have had problems
with banana plugs at just 10 Amps DC current. I try to avoid using them
above 5 Amps. Remember the power, dissipated as heat in the plug and
jack, = I-squared x R ! At 30 amps, tenths of an ohm become very
significant. The wires connected to the plugs need to be appropriate for
the current, too.
