I missed copying the list on this:
While nobody was watching, a whole family of banana-plug'ish connectors
has sprung up to support high-current battery packs.
Bry,
I was almost ready to assure you that all normal banana jacks are 4mm
(5/32") I.D. except for some rarely-seen really-small ones, about 2mm.
But I just stumbled onto this:
https://www.rchelicopterfun.com/images/Bullet-Connector-Sizes-500pics.jpg
It shows 2, 3.5, 4, 5, 5.5, 6.5 and 8 mm jacks. These are described a
"bullet connectors." However, don't see any 3.5mm units with plastic
handles like real banana plugs on E-bay.
That said, I do sometimes find myself pulling out my Swiss Army knife to
bend up the middle of the springs on 4 mm plugs to tighten things up.
