Well, I've used it on Amphenol plugs and jacks and never had a
problem. But we're talking about radio hardware, not a tea service or
the Stanly Cup. If you apply it for 20 seconds or so and rinse it
off it's probably okay. I've submerged connectors in it for several
minutes and rinsed them off, but you have to do a good thorough rinse.
If the stuff dissolved silver they'd probably be out of business by
now.
