[Boatanchors] Anyone recognize this?

I have in my collection of 35+ grid dip meters and wave meters a
somewhat rare, rather large, FS meter for 3.5 MHz to 148 MHz (amateur
bands only).  It is named a "Handy DB Field Strength Meter", by Radio
Transceiver Labs, Richmond Hill, NY.

It is made of a painted aluminum box and stands about 12" high and about
3.5" wide and deep with a grey crinkle finish.  The nomenclature is silk
screened white letters.    It is made a bit like an early handy talky.
It has a a 3" meter at the top marked "power change" in "db" and has a
collapsible whip antenna mounted out the top.  It appears to have one
miniature tube in it.  I've never tried to power it up but I would like to.

I'm in need of a schematic and or a manual for it.  Did a "net" search
and found they made a 2 meter "handy talky" back in the late 40's,
looking much like this package, but otherwise, came up with nothing on
the FS meter.

Anyone by chance recognize this FS meter and maybe have any info on it?
Your attention is appreciated.
