I've tried the program Multipsk on both my Airspy and various boatanchors

One problem is that I have no idea what the names of the most-used ham band 
modes are,
and how to identify them. There are lots of reasonably strong signals but
I can't decode without a reasonably small list of made names.

Does anybody around here have such a list, or point me to a web page with 
that
info for hams?
