[Boatanchors] Radio Blackout Going On?

GA All, 
Was gonna crank up on 40mtrs in the Classic Exchange and have heard no signals 
at all. Tuned other bands....nuttin. Quickly tuned up thru 11 and 13mc to 15mc... 
nothing...notta...not narrrry a signal except a couple of Spanish speaking stations 
on 11 & 13mc short wave bands...possibly from Cuba. Tried diff. rcvrs too just in 
case. Looked at the QSO map on DXMAPS.com and counted 24 QSOs noted on all bands, six mtrs thru 160. NOAA says we are at a R1 or R2 level. There was a CME 
a few days ago, so guess this is the result. Been a while since I've heard one go on this long ,,..now over an hour that I have been listening. Interesting...73 de Bill K4JYS
