Hi,

I have purchased mine from Bry, AF4K who is a member of most of these 
lists. You may have already asked and he may not have exactly what you 
need. But if he does he is somebody good to work with. The xtals I 
bought in the 455 kc area are for use in BFOs and all of them worked. 
BFOs must be offset a little of course. I also bought a couple spec'ed 
at 455 kc for filter use and those wee good too. Xtals at that frequency 
will not "pull" very far.

If you can't find the xtal you need (the exact frequency) you might try 
one of the 455 kc ceramic resonators. They can be pulled quite a bit 
farther. There are reported to be stable but probably not as good as a 
quartz crystal.
