The crystal pack is only needed for the SB-401 separate transmitter when it isn’t paired with a matching SB-300/301/303 transmitter.  The same crystals are already installed in the SB/HW series 5 band transceivers so this parts crystal pack would only be useful to replace a defective existing crystal in one of the transceivers.

is it same pack that will beef up a sb 101?
smecc museum has  sb 101...
