I have been keeping an eye out for the Trio branded original because I found a Trio TX-388S which is the matching SSB/CW transmitter for this receiver. I don’t believe Lafayette ever carried the transmitter. Currently I have a HA-350 paired with the Trio transmitter and they look nice together and it works OK although as Pete notes it doesn’t fall into the great receiver category.

There's two on Ebay.
I've never considered it a great receiver and I sold a number of them
during my Lafayette days.
Set the preselector slightly off and you wind up with all sorts of weird
signals and frequencies. The SSB filter is always in line even on AM.
