[Boatanchors] Midwinter 630 Operating Event

Honestly there are SO many "special" call signs nowadays in almost every country that none of them seems at all special sounding any more! No idea where half of them are now!
They even go to the extreme to try to be MORE special by putting 4, 5 and 6 digit numbers in the call signs. Just desperate to stand out in the crowd. The end result is that you can no longer tell anything about what country someone is in. Look at all the hundreds of KL7 and KH6 stations masquerading as being in Hawaii and Alaska. I kinda feel sorry for the DX stations that want to contact a station that really is where it purports to be!
