I called the receiver a R2-C but I guess it's really just a 2-C:

RigPix Database - Drake 2-C<http://www.rigpix.com/drake/2c.htm>
www.rigpix.com
Type: HF receiver: Frequency range: 10-80 m: Mode: SSB/CW/AM: Sensitivity: N/A: Selectivity: N/A: Image rejection: N/A: Voltage: Mains: Current drain:? Impedance: 50 ohms
And I called the transmitter a T2-NT but it's really just a 2-NT;
http://www.rigpix.com/drake/2nt.htm
RigPix Database - Drake 2-NT<http://www.rigpix.com/drake/2nt.htm>
www.rigpix.com
Type: Amateur HF transmitter: Frequency range: 10-80 m: Mode: CW: RF Power output: 40-60 W: Voltage: Mains: Current drain:? Impedance: 50 ohms: Dimensions (W*H*D):
But they were a pair intended for novices. But they were "PRICEY"!
They might not look enough alike to call them "TWINS".

Fascinating. I never heard of these. Are there pictures anywhere?

The Drake T2-NT was probably a bit "PRICEY" for a novice at that point in
time.
And remember there was a matching receiver. The R2-C. The R2-C and T2-NT
were styled more like the 4-Line units.
If you have a T2-NT then you probably need to find a R2-C to go with it.
