[Boatanchors] OT: Now that I have it, what do I use it for???

OK, sorry about the OT post, but there is a lot of knowledgeable people
here. I don't really know where else to ask.
I was visiting my neighbor today and he was cleaning out his mobile home
as he's getting married and moving out (the trailer is a total piece of
junk and will probably be torn down). A good neighbor, I'll miss him,
but not the trailer . . .
Anywhoo, he was piling up junk to go to the dump, mostly old 'puters,
monitors etc, things I wouldn't bring home for fear of roaches. But I
spot small electronic looking metal box, about 10x6x9 inches. Very
rugged and heavy, I lift up the lid. Lots of buttons, switches, a
gazillion LEDs, two digital displays (one in the lid) and so forth. He
didn't know what it is, or even where he got it from. Probably a yard
sale or something.
Turns out it is a Phoenix Microsystems Model 5575 T1 MICRO BERT with the
5565 DSO Drop/Insert Lid option (and apparently the battery option due
to it's weight). Some quick Google research shows that it is a TelCo T1
line tester. Even though the model number doesn't have the "B", it is
apparently the "B" version as it looks like pictures of one (the "A"
version is different).
Now the 64,000 Dollar question (remember that show?) is, WHAT USE IS IT
TO A RADIO MAN who has a fairly well equipped (even if vintage) test bench??
In other words, can I use it for anything around the shack, other than
parts?
