[Boatanchors] Like new Drake C line for sale, 160M-2M

I did reply to Pete, and the list, saying that I should have said "limited sales" and not "limited production".  There were not that many 2-NT transmitters sold.

Of course, the Drake receivers, starting with the "1", then "1-A", "2", then "2-A", "2-B", and "2-C" are well known.  But, not that many 2-NT were sold.  I would bet that the total sales were under 500 but I cannot find such information doing a quick "Google".  Kinda like the Hallicrafters HT-20 of which only about 300 were made.

Nonsense, that statement Glen. The same people who know about the Drake four line, do know very well about the two line! Starting to sound like you are watching the 'news' a little too much, grin. No harm intended.I just think he would be hard-pressed to find any Drake friend who's never heard of a 2B, 2C and 2NT. They are ubiquitous and in daily use. Last February I contacted at least 4 different stations that were using a 2NT during the Novice Rig Roundup.
