[Boatanchors] Like new Drake C line for sale, 160M-2M

Because there are variations in the 4-Line starting with no letter, then "A", then "B", and finally "C".  There are differences in performance, resale value, etc.  Unlike Collins, that had the A-Line and S-Line and then various models therein, Drake only had the 4-Line where the matched pairs were concerned.  Therefore, people started referring to the equipment by the suffix letter rather than "4-Line".

Question I have for the Drake fans:  Why do you call it the "C Line?"
Isn't it more accurate to call it the 4 Line?

always been perplexed about this.
