[Boatanchors] Novice Redux

We have three radio clubs in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Two are major clubs.

The common thing in these clubs is they all have 2M FM repeaters. The 
majority of members join for access to the repeaters. Some never go beyond 
buying a 2M FM HT.

For the most part it is Old Farts that are still doing HF. And I get the 
impression that is mostly SSB.

A lot of these people are never heard on CW except on contest days.
