Yes... SOMEBODY must be renewing them becaise we have over 9,000 Novice Licensees!


I wonder how many of those still have their original WN or KN callsign he he!


Sure hope we can get some of them active in the NOVICE RIG ROUNDUP when it kicks off 9 days from now!

That was okay then, but now, two probs:  1.  CW  testing ain't coming
back which is a shame.  2.  The old novice  was non-renewable so
eventually you had to learn more to stay  licensed.  I'll bet this new
license if it happens will be  renewable.

But the other option was "changes to the Technician license"  maybe
meaning dumbing it down more.  At any rate, nothing has  been
decided--ARRL is just looking for input.
They may wind up doing  nothing.
