[Boatanchors] Collins 75A Value?

If it looks new inside and out and is ready to plug in and use, I'd
start out asking $800. You probably won't get that. A2 and A3 sets
seem to sell for less than pristine A1 and A4s. You will never get
what it cost to have Howard go through it and restore it.

Important: Note what if any, IF mechanical filters are in it. If it
has the optional filters you can get more, especially the rare
unobtainium AM 6 kc filter. That filter alone can sell for around
$250 but it has to be the original B type filter, not something from a
later set like the R390A. If it has the optional CW filter, 800 cps,
you can ask for more also but not that much more. A lot of A3s have
the stock 3.1 kc and a homebrew filter, or no mechanical filters at
all.
