I wrote an article for Electric Radio on doing just that, adapting a 6000 socket island for use on a 6000A tester. I got my 12-pin from the local surplus store. I either have one in the junkbox still or can probably go find one at the store. Probably just a couple of bucks to get one from them. I don't recall the ER issue it printed in, but can send you the Word DOC if you can't access it via ER. If you have doped out the connections already, the article isn't going to tell you much more.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Amphenol 11 & 12 pin plugs
On EvilBay I see 11 pin Amphenol connectors, particularly plugs. I also see
requests on the Heath reflector for these items.
I am looking for a 12 pin Amphenol plug. At one point several years ago,
someone on one of these reflectors stated they had both 11 pin and 12 pin
plugs.
I am looking to change the 11 pin plug on the tube socket plug-in assembly
on a Hickok 6000 Tube Tester to a 12 pin plug so I can use it on my Hickok
6000A.
I currently have two 6000 testers and one newer & calibrated 6000A. All
this in the name of creating space. With that plug and the hardware
available, both 6000 units will be surplus.
Because I collect and restore Boatanchors and regular classic radios ( E.H.
Scott, McMurdo Silver & Lincoln) I need the functionality to test four pin
on up through compactrons, etc.
Anyone have one for sale or trade?
Thanks,
Gerry

interesting radios.
And don't forget, Classic Oldsmobiles (Oldsmobile Club of America

Collection stands at about 300 radios, 6 Oldsmobiles, Caddy Eldorado & a
1950 GMC long bed
