[Boatanchors] Wavetek 2405/2410 Display!

Anyone owning a Wavetek 2405 or 2410 Signal generator I have found an almost
perfect replacement for the display (Optrex DMC40218)!!

If you have a bad display or a dead backlight (Yes the 2405/10 was backlight
from the factory ( EL technology))!

The "NewHaven Display International Inc, part # NHD-0240AZ-FL-GBW, is a
plugin replacement.   You will need to modify the cover/shield over the
display.    All you need to do to active the backlight is add a 5vdc PS with
a 5ohm current limit,

to the two pads at the opposite Display end from the 16pin connector on the
display (print out the display and specs from Newhaven).    Digi-key stocks
this for about $21.    Now this is a great test set!!!
