I would like to get one of the old bullet head mics to go with my DX 100 and other old rigs. Anyone got one? I think they were made by Astatic if I remember right.

I have one of the Galaxy 2000+ amplifiers that came with my Galaxy V setup. It isn’t horrible but it reminds me of those multiple sweep tube CB amps that used to show up in one of the technical training school magazine advertisements. The 2000+ has a jumper plug for the power supply that lets you select either SSB or CW/RTTY mode. In CW/RTTY the tubes are fed by the 600 volt supply and when the jumper is oriented for SSB the 600 volt supply is stacked on top of the 200 volt supply providing 800 volts in high power mode.
I do VERY fast tuning 😊

Galaxy also made a linear amplifier, the model 2000, that used 10 6HF5
sweep tubes in parallel. I knew a kid in Lincoln (spoiled brat would be
a fair description) who had one and wrecked it the first time he tuned
it up (which I had the dubious pleasure of hearing on the air) by keying
it down for several minutes with the wrong band selected, as he later
confessed. But he blamed the failure on his father for "being too
cheap to by him the Collins equipment that he wanted". Yes, really!
