For Sale:  General Radio 1606A RF Bridge


Frequency coverage is 400 khz thru 60 Mhz.

Measures inductive or or capacitive reactance 0 to 5000 ohms at 1 mhz.  
accuracy + or - 2%

dial reading must be divided by frequency in Mhz to obtain reactance at 
that frequency.

Requires a seperate oscillator/signal generator and a receiver or null 
detector.  Any good quality signal generator well shielded will work fine.

Comes with one cable terminated with a General Radio coaxial connector 
which can be remade easily for adaption of and RF connection desired, 
plus to leads for connection to device under test.


This instrument has been long sought after as it is quite accurate for 
measuring network impedances.  Now superceded by common antenna 
analyzers.  It was a mainstay device in the old AM broadcasting industry 
fior building matching networks.

Size is about 12.5" X 9.5" X 10.25" and weighs about 25 pounds.
