[Boatanchors] EF50 Tube

Excuse my ignorance, but does the TV-7 tester works similarly, with settings, to the Hickock / Stark tube testers of if it is a parametric one (given nominal transconductance value for a defined set of bias parameters, like the AVO testers) ?
I can provide setting values for both cases.

Maybe try checking the pinouts of the TV-7 tube sockets to see if all pins 1 are common, etc. If so, and it is for my Hickock unit, then you probably can make up an adapter to plug into a 9-pin socket.

Guess I should have put "TV-7 tube tester" rather than "EF50" as the subject of my initial email. My TV-7 does have supporting data for testing the EF50 (alias CV-1091) but no socket for same. Does anyone know of a TV-7 adapter for 9-pin loctals? I assume there must be one, based on the CV-1091 data in the TV-7 data book. Mike, W6MAB

Mike,
The 9-pin loctal was strictly a European thing, introduce by Philips in
1938. I've never seen it supported by any tube testers on this side of
the pond. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tube_socket#Other_loctals
Might be easiest just to buy another tube fro 5 bucks:
