[Boatanchors] EF50 Tube

I'm trying to test an EF50 tube.  Radiomuseum says that the EF50 tube is "identical" to a CV-1091.  My TV-7/DU tube tester data has settings for testing the CV-1091.  However, both tubes a 9-pin loctals and the TV-7 does not have a socket for 9-pin loctals, only 8-pin loctals.  What's going on here?  Help, is there some adapter that's meant for the TV-7 to allow testing 9-pin loctals?     Mike, W6MAB
