David: Sometimes the equipment gets even. Back in the 1970s, I was a
Motorola field tech. There was a table top base station based on the MOTRAC
series of radios which had a small opening in the back where a mouse could
get in. When he tries, he slides under the chassis and squeezes under a
terminal strip where the AC cord terminates. Soon, his back contacts hot
and neutral, and the mouse is history. The fuse does blow. When I put the
unit on its side, there are two paws sticking out of a vent slot. I've seen
this at least 4 times. --Mike, WV2ZOW
