I know and have seen photos of Don  Wallace climbing his 90 foot 
telephone poles that held his Rhombic  antennas when he was around 80. 
His original property that covered the  Pacific Palisades was gradually 
reduced to only 25 acres holding wire  antennas aimed for all possible 
centers of ham radio  activity.
