RE: Need to sell my Amateur Radio collection
My radio interest goes back to 66. I am 68 Mom is 88 and now needs a full time at home care giver. I am the designated child of choice. I must sell out here in Westminster South Carolina and be to Flint Michigan with Mother by 15 August.
Location is a ground floor. Everything can be carted (hand truck) out the door (walk out basement to parking).
Option 1: Is there a collector/activist/business owner who would purchase the entire collection come and get it where it sets who would pay me $1,500.00 for everything.
Option 2: Offer the big items up to the Fellows on the Boat anchors and R 390 reflectors where I am active to sell what I can in the next week. I then would ask you to find someone who would come, collect the parts collection, and distribute it through the Armature Radio Community. I would like to sell everything to a dealer for $1,500.00. I believe over a period of time far more than $1,500.00 could be realized in sales, repairs and sales, donations and tax deductions that I cannot capitalize on. Fellows, who here in the division area would be able to help me and keep this collection out of the land fill?
You will have to come pick up the stuff as I do not have time to pack or transport the equipment.
Thank you for your help.
Respectfully,
Roger Ruszkowski
