[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters FPM-300

I had the Mk II I think. Don't know the difference between it and the
original FPM300. Or if there was a Mark One.

The rig came out when Hallicrafters was owned by Northrop Wilcox so
Hallicrafters was already dead by then for ham purposes. The rig
appeared to have been designed by non-hams, or else non-ham engineers
with no idea of how a ham rig is supposed to function, went over the
design or the rig was produced by committee.

I am near the end of a major (!) radio selloff where I’ve sold over 85% of my radios over the past 6 years and closing in on 90% next month, so I’m not in radio acquiring mode. Tnx for your comments. 73, Scott WA9WFA
