Unfortunately, the chosen date is horrible for EME. The moon will be at -16
degrees declination- almost as far south as it gets, and only reachable by a
small percentage of the dishes- mine not included.

Diana Day 70th Anniversary Special Event 
 
The Ocean - Monmouth Amateur Radio Club, N2MO will be on the air Saturday
and Sunday January 9th and 10th, 2016. We are celebrating the 70th
anniversary of the first Echo Location of the Moon which took place at
11:58 AM local time 10 January 1946. 
Look for N2MO in the 10, 15, 20, and 40 Meter Amateur Bands. Operations to
start at 13:00 Zulu and will run till 22:00 Zulu. We will be running a mix
of modes as operators allow. If you have EME capability listen in the 23cm
band between 1296 - 1297 MHz, Mode will be CW around 11:58 AM Eastern
Standard time, Sunday  the 10th As we are going to try to reproduce the
experiment.
