[Boatanchors] R48 Speaker replacement

hamfest.  I've found great full range old permanent magnet speakers at
 hamfests for a few bucks each.  Bring an ohm meter to measure the
coil, check the cone and spider, if all okay you are good.  I've found
Jensen, GE, RCA, CTS...nothing is better for ham shortwave AM than a
plain full range speaker in an old beat up buzzardly  bass reflex
cabinet.
